Effective March 1, 2010, first-time driver’s license applicants ages 18-24 are required to complete a six-hour driving education course to get a license.

WHAT IF I NEED BEHIND THE WHEEL INSTRUCTION BEFORE I TAKE MY DRIVING TEST? · Take your certificate to the DPS · Apply for your Class C learner’s permit · Call Austin Driving School for lessons!
